MJ 4ever

I carefully cut this record off a box of Rice Krinkles around 1970 or 1971. It played pretty well as I recall, although the cardboard did not lay flat like as vinyl, so I had to set a penny on top of the record player's stylus to give it some weight. I didn't eat the Rice Krinkles. And now I think I never shall.

What are Rice Krinkles? Never heard of them.

I don't remember them, but my research of these records shows that was the cereal this particular record was on. I am sure I just pulled one of those things kids do: "Mom, get these. They have a Jackson 5 record." "Rice Krinkles? How do you know you'll like them?" "Like them? I'm cutting the record off the box. Get them." "Sigh."

I had a cardboard recording of the Archies "Sugar Sugar". Played very well--might have done the penny trick too--but don't remember what cereal it came with. Wanna look it up?
